Job Description
The Domestic Abuse Victim Advocate (DAVA) provides non-clinical emergent and urgent service to victims of intimate partner abuse, child abuse, and problematic sexual behavior with children and youth. The DAVA will establish a victim's safety plan and provide information on available military and civil actions to promote safety.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling, Counseling or Behavioral Science, or related field
- 2 years of experience assisting and providing advocacy services to victims of domestic violence/abuse or sexual assault
- Basic Advocate Credential with Comprehensive Intervention Specialist designation
- Criminal history/Security Clearance background check
- Valid drivers' license and transportation
