Job Description
IVA’AL Solutions, LLC provides support to the Air Force Family Advocacy Program (FAP), a Department of Defense program supporting the prevention and response to intimate partner abuse, child abuse, and problematic sexual behavior. The RN FAN will implement and manage the New Parent Support Program, providing home-based prevention services to families, focusing on child and partner maltreatment prevention. This role will involve home visits, education, and support for families in various areas of development and health related issues.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) with current unrestricted U.S. state nursing license
- BSN from an accredited institution
- Minimum 2 years’ experience post BSN as a maternal/child or community health nurse
- Home Visiting experience preferred
- Basic Life Support Certification (Course C)
- Current in Maternal/Child and Family Violence prevention nursing practice
- Must have a drivers' license and ability to travel
- Ability to interact with diverse client populations and build rapport
