Adjunct Faculty positions are temporary, part-time positions hired each semester on an as-needed basis. The adjunct faculty member will be responsible for creating a learning environment that assists students in reaching their goals and for providing effective instruction and assessment within the framework of common syllabi provided by the School.
Requirements
- Must have strong working knowledge of current technologies appropriate to area of instruction, faculty credentials
- Meets Accounting program standard through one of five routes
- Possesses an earned master’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution in accounting
- Possesses an earned related or out-of-field master’s degree, from a regionally accredited institution, with documented 18 post-secondary semester hours or equivalent of courses in accounting beyond the introductory principle(s) level
- Possesses an earned related or out-of-field master’s degree, from a regionally accredited institution, with documentation in two or more of the following: In-field professional certification (national, regional or state), Three years of in-field professional employment, Documented evidence of teaching excellence, including date of award, Documentation of research and publication in the field, Documented relevant additional coursework beyond the bachelor’s degree, equivalent to 18 semester hours or equivalent subject matter coursework, CEU’s, vendor, or military
- Possesses an earned bachelor’s degree in accounting, from a regionally accredited institution, with documentation in two or more of the following: In-field professional certification (national, regional or state), Two years of in-field professional employment, Documented evidence of teaching excellence, including date of award, Documentation of research and publication in the field, Documented relevant additional coursework beyond the bachelor’s degree, equivalent to 18 semester hours or equivalent subject matter coursework, CEU’s, vendor, or military
- Possesses and earned Bachelor’s degree in a related business field from a regionally accredited institution with an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification
