Job Description
The Batchmixer I is responsible for combining raw materials into a quality blend, tablet, or encapsulated form to produce finished products following strict guidelines for production to meet required standards.
Requirements
- Combining raw materials into a quality blend
- Performing duties necessary to compound batches of various products
- Acting as a trainer for Batchmixer 2's and Batchmixer 1 trainees
- Maintaining logbooks for equipment
- Monitoring equipment for wear and/or mechanical problems
- Performing reconciliation of final dosage form yields
- Performing SAP transactions
- Notifying supervision of unusual characteristics or out-of-specification conditions
- Calculating amount of ingredients to be weighed for coating solution
- Pulling in-process samples for routine product monitoring
- Assisting or performing other jobs as assigned by supervision
