Investment Banking Associate

Javelin Global Commodities is seeking talented Investment Banking Associates to join the New York office and support the growing investment banking practice. The role involves handling a high level of responsibility in executing corporate finance transactions, advising clients, and developing junior bankers. The ideal candidate has a strong academic record, prior experience in investment banking, and excellent quantitative and communication skills.

Requirements

• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial work environment
• Undergraduate degree from a top-tier institution and stellar academic record
• Prior experience working at a bulge-bracket, major or boutique investment bank is preferred
• Strong quantitative and financial statement analysis skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
• Strong knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Bloomberg and other financial information tools
