Job Description
The Maintenance Mechanic (Mechanical) is responsible for ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on all production equipment. The role involves observing and troubleshooting machinery malfunctions, installing machinery/equipment, and providing regular preventative maintenance on machines and equipment.
Requirements
- Prior experience with machine maintenance in an industrial setting
- Basic industrial electrical knowledge
- Ability to properly use a cutting torch, read and follow prints, and accurately read all types of measuring devices
- General knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations in industry
- Ability to climb, stand, bend, lift heavy objects in awkward and confined spaces
