Job Description
The Quality Engineer is responsible for assisting/leading employees in achieving expected safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and cost targets. The role will oversee the inspection process, develop quality standards, complete audits, and develop metrics necessary to adhere to the Quality Management System.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering field (preferred)
- Previous experience in a quality control/quality assurance position
- Automotive experience a plus
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Statistical Process Control (SPC) experience
- Computer experience using Microsoft Office applications
- Experience in supplier quality functions
- Lean Manufacturing principles experience
