Provides supportive and educational services to youth and adults with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities. Supports individuals in their homes and the community to foster independence and social connections.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old, with a high school diploma or GED.
- Demonstrated ability to accept supervision and work constructively with individuals, colleagues and the community
- Direct Support Professional (DSP) certified preferred, or ability to complete training to become certified within 60 days of hire.
- Ability to work a flexible yet consistent schedule (evenings and weekends required)
- Complete CPR/First Aid training.
- Complete Physical and Background Check.
- Must have access to a dependable car, valid Illinois Driver’s License, and auto insurance.
- Must be able to meet physical demands of the position including but not limited to standing and walking.
