Sr. SQL Database Administrator

JCS Solutions is seeking an SR SQL Database Administrator to support large-scale migration and operations on a DOD contract. This role involves implementing and managing Oracle RAC with Data Guard, SQL Servers, and a strong focus on database security and data integrity. Requirements

• Experience implementing and managing Oracle RAC with Data Guard, as well as enterprise DB on Linux or Solaris.
• Managing databases, handling backups, performing recoveries, and applying security patches.
• Configuration and management of Oracle Clusters and ensuring high availability.
• Proficient in writing bash scripts on a Linux OS for managing Enterprise DB and Oracle databases.
• Responsible for the configuration and upkeep of Enterprise DB/PostgreSQL.
• Overseeing the configuration and management of SQL Server clusters to ensure high availability.
• Reviewing data within the database to maintain user database integrity.
• Monitors and oversees backend data synchronization applications and the retrieval of data from external sources.
• Analyzes customer issues, creates and shares solutions, and takes necessary corrective measures.
• Experience interfacing with senior management and clients on requirements and solutions.
