Job Description
JE Dunn is seeking an Electrical Estimating Engineer to contribute to the preparation of more complex cost estimates for competitive bids. The role involves participation in the construction and estimating process, developing an understanding of the building process, and providing input on all aspects of the project lifecycle. Autonomy and decision-making skills are essential, as is collaboration with stakeholders.
Requirements
- Perform quantity survey of Electrical materials.
- Reads and outlines project specifications.
- Maintains an audit trail of the quantity survey from estimate to estimate.
- Supports vendor/subcontractor pricing/bid solicitation.
- Provides input during the subcontractor selection process.
