Job Description
JELD-WEN is seeking a Supervisor, Manufacturing Operations (3rd Shift) to manage production operations and shop activities. The role involves leadership, technical aptitude, and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication skills. The position requires a Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in a related field and one to three years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the window and door industry.
Requirements
- Manage and implement production operations and shop activities
- Provide direct leadership and development to lead employees and their subordinates
- Act as a liaison between upper management and hourly employees
- Supervise production and production support operations
- Drive PSQDCI, TPS, OTD, and CI activities and initiatives
- Maintain existing plant facilities and equipment
- Implement and maintain preventative maintenance programs
