Job Description
The Senior Field Engineer reports to the Field Services and Technical Services department and is responsible for monitoring the progress of construction works, providing technical/engineering support, and ensuring contractors have all related information required to carry out the works appropriately.
Requirements
- Participate site reviews prior to the start of construction activities and verify documentation is available for construction start.
- Monitor and coordinate the progress of consruction activities and administer operations for subcontractor activities.
- Review and respond to field technical queries, preparing, submitting and follow-up of RFIs concerning his field of expertise.
- Manage relationships with different stakeholders - internal or external (contractors, client, etc) on the project.
- Provide technical assistance to QA/QC and Project Controls to ensure contractors and suppliers have satisfied all technical requirements for their respective scopes.
