Job Description
The Direct Support Professional provides services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Day Habilitation, Community Habilitation, Respite, or School Holiday Respite programs.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalency diploma
- Six months of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities or CNA certified
- Valid New York State driver's license with a clean driving record
- Physically able to bend, stretch, and travel on public transportation and transfer individuals as needed
- SCIP-R trained, CPR, and 1st Aid certified (preferred)
