Job Description
Jhpiego is seeking a Huehuetenango Financial Assistant to support the financial management of projects in Guatemala, focusing on strengthening healthcare systems and delivering quality services to women, children, and families. The role involves providing efficient accounting and financial support to the organization, ensuring accuracy in financial records and adherence to internal and external regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with NGOs, focusing on bookkeeping or financial assistance.
- University student enrolled in auditing, business administration, or related field.
- Knowledge of Guatemalan tax and labor laws.
- Practical knowledge in ERPs, preferably QuickBooks Accounting Software.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, Excel, and particularly QuickBooks.
- Availability to travel to the interior of the country as necessary.
