Job Description
Jhpiego is seeking a Senior Technical Advisor to provide technical expertise and leadership in the design, implementation, and oversight of MNH-related activities in Francophone countries. The advisor will focus on ensuring the delivery of high-quality technical approaches, aligning them with organizational, client, and donor needs, and developing partnerships. This regional position will focus on Cote d’Ivoire, Burundi, Madagascar, Senegal.
Requirements
- Healthcare provider (e.g., midwife, physician) with at least 7 years of experience supporting MNH services.
- At least 7 years of experience supporting MNH programs (preferably at primary and hospital levels).
- At least 5 years of experience supporting capacity building of health care providers to address both MNH routine care and emergencies.
- Up to date knowledge of and familiarity with global MNH evidence, guidelines, and resources
- Experience developing, reviewing, and providing feedback on project workplans and reports
- Flexibility to adapt to changing work environments and conditions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and supervision skills.
- Ability to work independently and with team members and partners.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and French.
- Ability to travel up to 40%
