We are seeking a dynamic Business Developer to join our Tenant Representation team in South Africa. This role will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new tenant representation opportunities across our key markets of Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Durban.
Requirements
- Proactively identify and target potential tenant representation clients across commercial and industrial sectors
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans for each major market
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients through networking, cold calling, and market research
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to generate new business opportunities
- Cultivate long-term relationships with key decision makers including CFOs, Real Estate Directors, Facilities Managers, and C-suite executives
- Maintain regular contact with existing clients to identify expansion opportunities and ensure client satisfaction
- Collaborate with other JLL service lines to identify cross-selling opportunities
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities across all three markets
- Provide market insights to support strategic planning and positioning
- Identify new market segments and growth opportunities for tenant representation services
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to contract execution
- Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and pitch materials
- Coordinate with delivery teams to ensure seamless transition from sales to service delivery
