Lead Operating Engineer

The Lead Operating Engineer performs preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment systems within assigned facilities. This hands-on role involves assisting mechanics in maintenance and repair efforts while independently performing defined tasks including inspections and repairs to property interior and exterior areas. You'll contribute to JLL's operational excellence by ensuring building systems function reliably and efficiently while maintaining high standards of tenant satisfaction.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Valid state driver's license required and must be maintained
• Ability to perform all work using proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Physical ability to use ladders up to 30 ft, work from heights, climb stairs and navigate rooftops to access equipment
• Experience with hand tools and power tools for maintenance and repair work
• Related experience and/or training in carpentry, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Position requires excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written
