We are currently looking for a Director of Engineering in the United States to lead and scale core engineering teams responsible for foundational systems that power critical applications.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience
- 6+ years in a technical leadership or engineering management role
- Hands-on experience with frontend (Angular, TypeScript) and backend (Node.js,.NET) development
- Proven ability to balance strategic leadership with technical contribution in high-growth or startup environments
- Experience designing and building distributed systems, APIs, and core platform components
- Strong understanding of system architecture, performance optimization, and trade-offs
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments, and modern DevOps principles
- Demonstrated success mentoring engineers, conducting performance reviews, and supporting career growth
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, comfortable influencing at all organizational levels
- Experience with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices
