Principal Frontend Engineer (Remote - US)

We are looking for a Principal Frontend Engineer to lead the design and development of next-generation user interfaces, shape the UI architecture for web and mobile platforms, and spearhead a growing engineering team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
• 14+ years of frontend/UI development experience, including at least 2 years in a technical lead or architect capacity
• Proven experience leading or scaling frontend engineering teams
• Strong expertise in React.js, React Native, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Proficiency with voice, video, and media APIs (MediaRecorder, Web Speech, WebRTC)
• Experience building high-performance native web apps and cross-platform UIs
• Strong UX and design sensibility, with experience in design systems and visual hierarchy
• Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
• Familiarity with GraphQL, micro-frontend architectures, or monorepo setups preferred
• Experience with data visualization frameworks (e.g., D3.js, Deck.gl) preferred
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or custom LLM integrations) is a plus
• Passion for developer experience, emerging technologies, and innovative UI/UX solutions
