Senior QA Engineer (Backend) (Remote - Europe)

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer (Backend) to play a key role in shaping and executing the automation strategy that ensures the stability and quality of complex backend systems.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance
• Strong expertise in backend systems and API testing
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript, Java, Python, or an equivalent language
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools
• Deep understanding of HTTP protocol, WebSocket communication, and client-server architectures
• Experience in performance testing using tools like JMeter or Gatling
• Ability to debug complex technical issues and decompose application functionalities logically
• Working knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases
• Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to collaborate across distributed, multicultural teams
