Procurement / Buyer

The Procurement/Buyer is responsible for managing the company's stock and purchasing processes. Key responsibilities include creating stock items, verifying usage, running stock reorder level reports, and processing stock orders. The successful candidate will ensure accurate and efficient purchasing and stock management practices.

Requirements

• Create stock items on Eazy
• Verify usage prior to setting reorder levels
• Run stock reorder level report daily
• Raise orders for required stock items
• Process stock orders
• Request quotes and process orders
• Check order requests against quotes received
• Ensure maximum trade discount applied/received
• Place orders with relevant suppliers
• Process orders and ensure accuracy
• Verify prices and resolve discrepancies
• Request credit notes where applicable
• Update receipts regularly
• Follow up on outstanding orders
• Submit orders to accounting for verification
