Job Description
The role will act as a core driver to the China strategy for our client by understanding the ground situation, assessing and validating the capabilities of the Partners based in China Region. The role will be responsible for identifying new partners, building and maintain partnerships with the new and existing partners.
Requirements
- Meet long-term demands as per agreed service levels
- Optimally source all components for commercial and new products
- Ensure supplier quality assurance and reduce supply risks
- Lead the team to deliver stretch targets and continually improve processes
- Strategize and drive sourcing function and R&D- New Product Development
- Assess risk factors to ensure minimum cost exposure to Business from China Partners
- Manage contract negotiations for all vendors based in China
- Negotiate at manufacturer level and ensure cost transparency and net costs
- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Develop strong relationships with Suppliers and Distributors
- Work closely within the supply chain and finance teams
