Composite & Steel Tooling Fabrication & Design Support Technician

Joby is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Composite Tooling Fabricator to join our team. The optimal candidate will possess the ability to learn and apply the methodology of GD&T as it pertains to the metrology process in the utilization of portable CMM equipment in support of the tooling dept inspection processes.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED Equivalent
• 1yr Manual lathe and milling machining experience
• Mechanical skills relating to assemblies
• Understanding of composite & metallic materials
• Manual dexterity and ability to use hand & power tools efficiently and effectively
• Familiar with CAD software
• Able to become certified to wear a respirator
• Ability to lift assemblies weighing up to 50 lbs
• Have no known allergies to epoxies or other composites materials
