Employee Relations Partner

We're looking for an Employee Relations Partner to join our team at Joby Aviation. The successful candidate will blend strategic HR business partnership with employee relations, performance management, conflict resolution, and policy development. They will proactively address employee concerns, lead investigations, support talent development efforts, and use data to identify trends and develop targeted solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• 5+ years of HR experience
• Ability to objectively coach employees and management through difficult issues
• Proven track record of consultative HR experience and working autonomously
• Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills, attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks, and work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
• Organized in handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Thorough understanding of internal and external HR principles, California labor laws, concepts, practices, and standards
• Ability to create an approachable and supportive environment for team members and managers, providing empathetic, customer-focused solutions to concerns and challenges
• Proficient in G-Suite programs
