Systems Engineer, Mechanical Systems

Joby Aviation is seeking a Systems Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team focused on the design, integration, and certification of aircraft systems. The role involves ensuring the technical success of systems, coordinating between departments, and adhering to FAA regulations. They are seeking a passionate engineer with a strong work ethic and adaptability.

Requirements

• Generate, review, approve, and manage system requirements.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary design reviews.
• Assist with trade studies and test programs.
• Generate and/or review system safety analyses.
• Work with various company departments to meet system requirements.
• Coordinating as required to execute and manage system design projects, testing, certification, and production readiness.
• Master of Science in Engineering preferred (Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering preferred)
