Job Description
John Sisk & Son is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their UK Build Business Unit. The role involves managing projects, ensuring successful delivery, and maximizing commercial returns while maintaining relationships. It's a residential project worth £150m in London and involves collaboration within a global, family-owned business.
Requirements
- Implement commercial strategy
- Support the SQS & MQS commercial functions
- Prepare tenders, analysing, selecting appropriate s/cs, negotiating & finalising s/c orders
- Prepare variations with adequate records & details
- Update projected Final Account
- Cooperate with site management and influence/challenge site management
- Maintain & protect commercial entitlement
- Prepare/submit in a timely manner
- Manage and oversee AQS & TQS
- Maintain site records and control documents
