Full Time Behavioral Health Specialist

Johnson County Mental Health is looking for a Full-time Behavioral Health Specialist to work at the Youth Crisis Center. The position is eligible for shift differentials and requires a High School diploma or equivalent and one year of experience in a human services field.

Requirements

• Provides, assists with, or coaches individuals on personal care needs
• Provides crisis interventions and monitors youth interactions and behaviors
• Teaches, coaches and provides guidance and support on various skills
• Assists and supports individual treatment/recovery goals
• Develops and maintains a positive and effective relationship with service recipients and families
