Job Description
The Ministry Operations Manager at Joni and Friends (US Ministries) supports the area director in various duties, including outreach program planning, volunteer recruitment and development, program oversight, and donor cultivation. The role requires strong organizational skills, a commitment to Christian ministry, and a proactive approach to supporting the local church. The position offers opportunities for professional development and growth in the realm of disability ministry.
Requirements
- Must possess a vibrant personal relationship with Jesus Christ and agree with the Joni and Friends statement of faith
- Experience with event planning, project management, and volunteer oversight is required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Ability to lift 25 pounds and physically assist at events
- Strong organizational skills and time management
- Excellent communication skills
- Understanding of Christian ministry and the Joni and Friends philosophy is desirable
- Computer skills (Windows, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Internet)
