Job Description
We are recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to estimate and control costs for our Project, ensuring structures meet legal and quality standards. The role involves various duties including preparation of internal commercial reports, valuations, and cost reports, as well as administration of subcontractor/supplier accounts.
Requirements
- Experience in shafts and tunnelling
- Experience in IChemE
- Commercially astute with knowledge of standard forms of contract and standard methods of measurement
- Computer literate with strong skills in Microsoft Office Applications (Word/Excel/Outlook/Powerpoint)
- Good communication skills including presentations and ability to negotiate and persuade others
- At least 5 years QS experience and ideally a minimum of 2 years as a SQS
