Job Description
As an experienced banking accountant, you will play a key role within Financial Accounting, covering accounting activities for Lending, Banking Operations (including Client Corporate Actions), and Cash Desk. You will manage daily accounting tasks, drive the continuous improvement of accounting processes and systems, and provide expert support related to internal and external audits.
Requirements
- Completed financial or business administration education with further training in accounting (e.g. specialist certificate in finance and accounting, Bachelor/Master in Accounting or Banking & Finance)
- Several years of professional experience in bank accounting, preferably in the areas of lending, banking operations or corporate actions
- Experience with T24 or comparable core banking systems
- Sound knowledge of banking products, particularly in lending
- Good understanding of IFRS and Swiss Banking GAAP (RVI)
- Project experience with SAP and use of SAP
- Sound handling of MS Office programmes
- Very good English language skills, both written and spoken. Fluency in German is an advantage
- Strong analytical skills as well as independent and meticulous work approach
- Team-oriented personality with strong communication skills and resilience
