Job Description
June Shelton School & Evaluation Center seeks a Middle School Theatre Arts Teacher to lead the drama program, teaching foundational theatre skills, directing performances, and fostering a supportive environment for students with learning differences.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Theatre, Theatre Education, Performing Arts, or a related field
- Five years classroom experience
- Prior experience teaching theatre at the middle or upper school level
- Demonstrated experience directing plays and musicals
- Strong knowledge of acting techniques, stagecraft, theatre history, and performance practices
