Requirements

• Work as part of a project team to identify, plan, coordinate and implement safety improvements in tunnels
• Perform work activities such as risk assessments, method statements and safety procedures to ensure tunnel safety standards are met
• Conduct safety inspections to identify and report potential safety hazards
• Develop and implement plans to eliminate or control hazards and take proactive measures to prevent accidents
• Provide advice and guidance to tunnel owners, contractors and site personnel on tunnel safety issues
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement safety policies, procedures and training programs
• Conduct investigations into accidents and incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
• Participate in tunnel safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with tunnel safety standards
• Develop and maintain safety documentation, such as safety policies, procedures and records
• Provide training to tunnel owners, contractors and site personnel on tunnel safety issues
