Database Engineer (DE) Skill Level 2

Kaizen Approach is looking to hire a Database Engineer to provide technical expertise in database design, development, and implementation. The role involves developing relational and/or Object-Oriented databases, creating database parser software, and managing data flow and retrieval.

Requirements

• Must have the ability to provide technical expertise for database design, development, implementation, information storage, retrieval, data flow, and analysis.
• Must possess the ability to develop relational and/or Object-Oriented databases, database parser software, and database loading software.
• Must have the ability to assist in developing database structures that align with the overall architecture of the system under development.
• Must be capable of leading the development of database structures that fit into the overall system architecture, balancing data volumes, number of users, response times, and security.
• Must have the ability to assist in the analysis, evaluation, and development of system improvements, optimization, and maintenance efforts.
• Must have five (5) years of experience as a DBE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Must possess a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university, or have five (5) years of DBE experience as a substitute.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.
