Job Description
Kalshi is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join their growing data team. The company is focused on predicting financial outcomes and is currently the fastest financial market in America. The role involves building models, designing experiments, and driving impact across various product, marketing, and platform initiatives, with a focus on both analytical and scientific skills. This is a full-time, location-dependent role based in New York.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Fluency in SQL and proficiency in a scripting language like Python or R.
- Experience with distributed data systems (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake, Presto, Hive, Spark).
- Strong foundation in statistical methods, experimentation, and/or forecasting.
- Track record of working cross-functionally and communicating effectively.
