Job Description
The Sr. Design Engineer plans, organizes, and directs technical engineering activities related to product design, improvement, and compliance while meeting company objectives. The role involves working with sales and product management teams, providing guidance to manufacturing and quality control, and making off-site visits to advise on modifications and potential sales.
Requirements
- Experience in heavy equipment manufacturing through a full system development life cycle
- Experience in evaluating and providing guidance on engineering costs and schedule baselines/estimates
- Deep understanding and experience with Finite Element Analysis simulations
- Expert in CAD drafting principles, practices, methods, techniques, and engineering principles
- Proficiency with 3D modeling software (Inventor preferred), Auto CAD 2D
