Job Description
Kanopi Studios is seeking a WordPress Engineer to build, maintain, and enhance WordPress websites for mission-driven clients. They emphasize growth, wellbeing, and the importance of skilled and supportive team members. This is a full-time, remote position focusing on delivering performant, secure, and accessible digital experiences.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional WordPress development experience
- Strong understanding of modern WordPress architecture (CPTs, REST API, taxonomies, hooks/filters)
- Proficient with React for Gutenberg blocks
- Experience with Next.js or headless WordPress implementations
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum)
- Experience working within a digital agency or multi-client environment
- Familiarity with different project management methodologies
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
