Job Description
The Event Staff is responsible for serving menu items to guests, performing pre- and post-shift side work, clearing tables, and responding to guest inquiries. The position requires basic reading and writing skills, food service experience, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. The Event Staff team handles every aspect of events at The Gallery, an elegant urban venue in Kansas City, MO.
Requirements
- Basic reading and writing
- Food service experience with general knowledge of banquet operations
- Must speak fluent English
- Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local or state government agency
