Patrol Agent I

The Patrol Agent is primarily responsible to ensure safety and protects University property; executes appropriate action when dealing with problems, incidents, and/or safety hazards or concerns; and maintains accurate and current records.

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Minimum of one (1) year of security and/or law enforcement preferred
• Requires qualification for armed patrol agent commission issued by the Kansas City Board of Police Commissioners
• Valid driver’s license, with driving record acceptable to standards set by KCU's commercial insurance carrier
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to make good judgments and independent decision
• Ability to quickly respond to emergencies
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
