Job Description
YMCA Group Exercise Instructor will conduct group exercise classes focused on cardiovascular wellness, flexibility, and muscular endurance. This position involves a variety of shifts and offers ongoing training, membership to all YMCA centers, and career advancement opportunities. The position emphasizes teamwork, a positive attitude, and a commitment to the YMCA’s mission.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification.
- Able to relate to people on all levels.
- Able to reflect a positive attitude.
- Accepted National Group Exercise Certification (i.e. AFAA, ACE, NCSM), specialized training in a nationally recognized format (i.e. Zumba, YogaFit, RYT 200 or 500, Piloxing, Pilates, Powder Blue formats, LesMills etc) and/or Foundations of YMCA Group Exercise
