Job Description
KatRisk is seeking a highly analytical Catastrophe Risk Modeler to join their team, focusing on modeling insurance exposure to natural catastrophes. The role involves developing and maintaining predictive models, processing large datasets, and collaborating with clients and internal teams. This is a remote position within a rapidly growing company.
Requirements
- Develop, calibrate, and maintain catastrophe models for perils like wildfire, flood, wind, earthquake.
- Collect, analyze, and process large data sets from clients and sources.
- Design and implement data pipelines.
- Write code to manipulate and analyze large and complex data sets.
- Rigorously evaluate models and validate with historical data.
- Write documentation and present results to clients and colleagues.
- Utilize KatRisk Software Suite.
