Job Description
KBR is seeking a Carpenter to join their team. The role will be located at an OCONUS location and will involve performing routine and preventative maintenance of building woodwork and associated equipment, designing and building structures and fixtures, and reading and interpreting blueprints.
Requirements
- Active US Secret security clearance
- High school diploma or equivalent
- TVC/Journeyman Card, Journeyman Carpenter Certificate, or Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or vocational program
- 10 years of experience, with 2 years in a lead or supervisory role
- Practical knowledge of repairs, installation of floor and ceiling tile, walls, masonry work, locksmithing, cabinet making, framing, form work, and painting trade
- Experience with operating small power tools and machinery, reading blueprints, and performing material take-offs from prints
