MISS: Assistant Chief Engineer (Contingency Hire)

The Assistant Chief Engineer will oversee the prime power and water/waste water treatment programs, supervise the operations of the water and waste water treatment plants, and ensure the viability, availability and safety of water treatment and waste distribution systems.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED and technical school or recognized training in water treatment.
• Three (3) years’ experience in operations and maintenance of a water treatment plant, facility, base or municipality, with specific experience in the operation of emergency generator operations, physical plants, building operations and associated life support systems.
• Two (2) years’ management experience overseeing large facility preventative maintenance programs supervising a workforce of fifteen (15) or more personnel in an overseas environment.
• Certifications relating to water treatment and waste water treatment testing operations.
• US Citizen
