Project Construction Manager

KBR is seeking a skilled Project Construction Manager to lead construction projects and Task Orders for a government customer's sites. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, analytical acumen, and experience in construction/facility projects. The role will be based in Alice Springs, Australia, and requires on-call support for a 24x7 operation.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with adjudicated CI polygraph or Host Nation TS/PV clearance
• Degree in Project Management, Civil, Construction, or Architecture from an accredited university, or equivalent work experience
• 7 years of experience with construction/facility projects of similar scope, size and complexity
• 5 years of experience as a Senior/Chief Project Manager responsible for supervising project managers, engineers and sub-contractors
• Professional certification/registration
• Experience working in 24x7x365 operational environments requiring close coordination with mission operations
• Ability to read construction design and equipment drawings
• Knowledge of process improvement models (e.g LEAN/Six Sigma, ISO 9000)
• Experience in operations management, construction/renovation projects
• Experience planning and implementing large-scale facility and logistics projects
• Experience integrating project schedules
• Proficient knowledge and experience in the use of project management concepts
• Demonstrated supervisory experience with excellent organizational and leadership capabilities
• Knowledge of U.S. government exercise or crisis management communities and experience planning, coordinating, and executing support to special events
• Experience working in remote locations is desired
