KBR is seeking a skilled Project Construction Manager to lead construction projects and Task Orders for a government customer's sites. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, analytical acumen, and experience in construction/facility projects. The role will be based in Alice Springs, Australia, and requires on-call support for a 24x7 operation.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI with adjudicated CI polygraph or Host Nation TS/PV clearance
- Degree in Project Management, Civil, Construction, or Architecture from an accredited university, or equivalent work experience
- 7 years of experience with construction/facility projects of similar scope, size and complexity
- 5 years of experience as a Senior/Chief Project Manager responsible for supervising project managers, engineers and sub-contractors
- Professional certification/registration
- Experience working in 24x7x365 operational environments requiring close coordination with mission operations
- Ability to read construction design and equipment drawings
- Knowledge of process improvement models (e.g LEAN/Six Sigma, ISO 9000)
- Experience in operations management, construction/renovation projects
- Experience planning and implementing large-scale facility and logistics projects
- Experience integrating project schedules
- Proficient knowledge and experience in the use of project management concepts
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with excellent organizational and leadership capabilities
- Knowledge of U.S. government exercise or crisis management communities and experience planning, coordinating, and executing support to special events
- Experience working in remote locations is desired
