KBR is seeking a highly qualified OPIR Systems Engineer to provide Systems Engineer Technical Advisor (SETA) support for a USG Agency. The Senior OPIR Systems Engineer will be responsible for providing planning, organizing, and management of the integration and sustainment of OPIR ground systems into the operational site.
Requirements
- Extensive OPIR payload knowledge and experience
- Evaluate OPIR optical designs for performance, manufacturability, and risk
- Provide analysis and recommendations to Tracking programs in execution
- Works across Tracking programs in execution to evaluate and assess total constellation performance
- Supports and conducts modeling and simulation of Tracking OPIR sensor and constellation performance
- Participates in key program milestones with analysis and recommendations on OPIR payload status and risks
- Assist the Government with overseeing delivery activities from RFC review through Operations Acceptance Review (OAR)
- Function as the interface between the system users, the program office, and the systems developers to ensure that requirements and user needs are met
