Job Description
KCR Solutions is recruiting a Management Accountant for a vibrant and successful organization in Newcastle upon Tyne. The role involves preparing and presenting monthly management accounts, interpreting and analyzing financial statements, and working closely with senior management to resolve queries.
Requirements
- Preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts
- Interpretation and analysis of the accounts and explanation of variances
- Assisting in preparing financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement and cashflows
- Full reconciliation of all balance sheet and control accounts including prepayment and accrual calculations on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Responsible for posting journals and performing complex analysis
- Providing supporting data and relevant analysis to senior management to aid decision making in an effective and timely manner
- Recording financial transactions
- Assisting in reconciling supplier ledgers and agreeing to supplier statements
- Ensuring payments to suppliers are paid as per the supplier payment terms
- Completion of quarterly VAT return
- Analysing and reporting of period end departmental reports
