Job Description
Kemin Food Technologies is seeking a skilled Senior Scientist specializing in food enzymes for bakery applications to lead research projects and develop innovative enzyme solutions. The role requires expertise in enzyme chemistry, application in food processing, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Candidates should have a strong background in the food industry and a passion for driving innovation in food science.
Requirements
- Masters Degree in Food Science, Biochemistry, Biology, or related field with 10 years of experience in the food (specifically bakery) industry OR
- PhD in Food Science, Biochemistry, Biology, or related field with 5 years of experience in the food (specifically bakery) industry
- Strong knowledge of enzyme chemistry, functionality, and applications in food processing
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for enzyme products in the food industry
- Proficient with statistical analysis and experimental design
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Travel up to 10-15%
