Paint Prep Technician

The Paint Prep Technician is an entry-level full-time position based in Calgary, AB, responsible for prepping aircraft surfaces for painting, including sanding, polishing, coating, and priming, and ensuring proper adhesion.

Requirements

• Keep all workshop areas clean, stocked, and organized at all times.
• Use all provided tools and parts hanging hardware as intended.
• Conduct surface preparation including sanding, polishing, coating, and priming.
• Inspect aircraft surfaces for defects, corrosion, or damage that may affect the paint application.
• Apply primers, fillers, and sealants to aircraft surfaces.
• Collaborate with the paint team to ensure proper communication and coordination during the painting process.
