Quality Assurance Manager

Kepak is a leading food company with manufacturing sites across Ireland and the UK. We are recruiting for a Quality Assurance Manager to work in our busy Bodmin Site.

Requirements

• Lead the Quality Assurance function within the primary processing unit
• Ensure full compliance with health and safety policies and procedures
• Monitor and report on H&S metrics
• Lead the QA team in implementing and maintaining robust food safety and quality systems
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, TACCP, VACCP & BRCGS standards
• Liaise with the site food safety manager to support and continuously improve the sites quality management system
• Support internal animal welfare audits
• Conduct regular risk assessments and root cause analysis
• Monitor claims & complaints
• Contribute to site CI initiative development and delivery
• Set up and monitor QA performance
• Ensure the site is always audit ready
• Lead the QA preparation and response for customer, third party ad regulatory audits
• Monitor and investigate non conformance's and to ensure satisfactory resolutions
