We are seeking an accomplished and adaptable Research Informatics Specialist for a dual-function position that integrates advanced technical proficiency with strategic business collaboration. The incumbent will act as a liaison between Research and CMC, engaging closely with IT teams to develop, implement, and maintain technical solutions, while proactively identifying informatics-driven innovation opportunities.
Requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across informatics systems and hardware.
- Design, develop, and maintain existing informatics platforms, data pipelines, and integration frameworks.
- Ensure systems are scalable, secure, and optimized for performance.
- Serve as a point of contact to support data governance efforts across Research & Development.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for upgrades, support, and innovation.
- Evaluating and selecting systems based on user and business needs.
- In collaboration with the Research and CMC teams, develop training materials and conduct sessions for science staff.
- Support cross-functional initiatives that leverage scientific data and technologies to drive business value.
- Support efforts that bring together teams to make the most of information, data, and technology so the organization can reach its goals.
- Advocate for data management and informatics capabilities across departments, promoting adoption and engagement.
- Support the development of business intelligence dashboards, reports, and analytics tools to empower data-driven decision-making.
- Partner with scientific and technical teams to ensure IT infrastructure and platforms can support complex data analysis, modeling, and advanced computational workflows.
- Monitor system performance and user feedback to drive continuous improvement.
