Requirements
- Ability to work with children in a camp setting
- Experience working with children in camp, school, sports, or recreational settings (preferred)
- Ability to build positive relationships with campers, families, and staff
- Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
- Ability to pass required background checks and provide medical clearance
- CPR, First Aid, and AED certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, walk several blocks, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25–40 pounds, participate in active games, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Maintain visual and auditory awareness to supervise children effectively and ensure safety
Benefits
- Part-time participation in virtual and in-person trainings during May and June
- Mandatory attendance at virtual and on-site training sessions
- Biweekly salary payments from late June - August 2026
- Total salary range based on 8 weeks of summer camp: $3,600 to $4,800
- Total salary range based on 7 weeks of summer camp: $3,150 to $4,200
- Pre-summer compensation: $375
- Training attendance is mandatory and paid upon completion
